These terms and conditions govern the use of the Cara Treadwell Travel website and the travel services we provide. Please read them carefully before making an enquiry or booking.
Cara Treadwell Travel is an independent travel agent operating as a member of InteleTravel UK Ltd. All bookings are made through InteleTravel UK Ltd, which holds ABTA membership No. P7384 and is ATOL Protected. By making a booking through Cara Treadwell Travel, you are entering into a contract with the relevant tour operator or travel supplier, with Cara Treadwell Travel acting as your agent.
We provide a travel consultancy and booking service. We will search for, recommend and arrange travel products on your behalf, including but not limited to holidays, flights, hotels, villa rentals, cruises and tours. Our service is provided at no additional cost to you. We receive a commission from the tour operator or travel supplier, which is included within the price you pay.
All quotes provided are indicative only and subject to availability and confirmation. Prices may change between the time of quoting and the time of booking. No booking is confirmed until we have received a deposit or full payment as required by the relevant tour operator, and you have received a written confirmation from us or the supplier.
When you confirm a booking, you are accepting the terms and conditions of the relevant tour operator or travel supplier in addition to these terms. Payment terms, deposit amounts, cancellation charges and other booking conditions vary between suppliers and will be clearly communicated to you before you confirm. It is your responsibility to read and understand those terms before booking.
All holidays arranged through Cara Treadwell Travel are booked through InteleTravel UK Ltd, which is a member of ABTA (No. P7384) and holds ATOL protection where applicable. This means that in the unlikely event of the financial failure of a tour operator, your holiday and money are protected. Full details of the protection applicable to your booking will be provided at the time of booking.
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance is your responsibility. We are not authorised to sell travel insurance directly, but we can point you in the right direction. Travelling without adequate insurance may leave you financially liable for medical expenses, cancellation costs and other unforeseen events.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party hold valid passports and any required visas for your destination. We will provide general guidance where we can, but the final responsibility for ensuring all travel documents are correct and in order rests with you. Requirements can change and we recommend checking with the relevant embassy or official government sources before travelling.
Cara Treadwell Travel acts as an agent for tour operators and travel suppliers. Our liability is limited accordingly. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of those suppliers, or for events outside our reasonable control. Where a supplier fails to deliver services as booked, your legal rights are against that supplier. We will assist you in making any complaint or claim wherever possible.
